Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create a LiveKaart account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and home ZIP code / city / state. If you use location features, we collect your approximate GPS coordinates to show nearby stores and deals. We do not sell this information to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: show you deals and stores near your home address or current location; send you deal alerts and weekly savings summaries if you opt in; allow store owners to post prices and deals relevant to your area; and improve the LiveKaart platform. We do not use your data for advertising to third parties.

3. Location Data

LiveKaart uses your home address (ZIP/city you enter during signup) as your default location. If you enable "Use my current location," your GPS coordinates are used temporarily to find nearby stores — they are not stored permanently. You can switch back to your home address at any time.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with: Supabase (our database provider, used for secure account storage); and store owners who have enrolled on LiveKaart — they can see aggregate deal engagement data, not your personal profile. We never sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. On deletion, your personal information is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

6. Security

All data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.

7. Children's Privacy

LiveKaart is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
